Anthony Paul McNevin, 62, got into his car in the early hours and drove 200 yards to his house in Cornwall. Police saw him narrowly miss bollards and pulled him over. He was subsequently found to be more than twice the legal limit.<\/p>\n<p>His defence, Mark Charnley, told magistrates that McNevin had made:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2026the silliest decision of his life\u2026<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Not quite, Mr Charnley.
