Ronald Payot was driving illegally \u2013 he was a provisional licence holder and had no supervising driver with him \u2013 when he pulled out on to the A120<\/a> near Colchester and collided with another car. He pleaded guilty to driving unsupervised and driving without due car and attention.<\/p>\n

Chairman of the bench James Addison said: \u201cIn reaching our decision we have taken into account your early guilty plea.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He was fined \u00a3207, given six points on his licence, ordered to pay costs of \u00a390 and a victim surcharge of \u00a320. They stopped short of awarding him a full licence and an all-expenses paid holiday.<\/p>\n
