Then \u2013 as is typical of his class of slime \u2013 he posted it on various social media sites.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 520px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-15386-1\" width=\"520\" height=\"292\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/x-flv\" src=\"https:\/\/www.diaryofanadi.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/spud-u-like-danny-jones1.flv?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.diaryofanadi.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/spud-u-like-danny-jones1.flv\">https:\/\/www.diaryofanadi.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/spud-u-like-danny-jones1.flv<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>Jones \u2013 whose likeness to a potato with a walnut stapled to it is astounding \u2013 is seen and heard smugly commentating:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I appear to have found a quicker way to work. Everybody is beeping at me and I don\u2019t care. Are you ready? This is the quickest way to work. Follow this. Pulling over, pulling over, not me lad, I\u2019m there, I\u2019m on it, I\u2019m going past. Ta-ra all.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Jones\u2019 kinship to potatoes seems to extend inwards as well as outwards. The starchy tuber that passes as his head has prompted him to claim that \u201cit looks worse than it is\u201d. He said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I was keeping my distance, there was a queue of cars behind me. It looks a lot worse than it was. It\u2019s claiming (one thing), but that\u2019s not what it actually is. It\u2019s nowhere near as bad as what the video makes out. I was doing the speed limit and I was maintaining my distance behind the ambulance, it just looks like I\u2019m following it. In reality, there\u2019s nothing wrong with that. I\u2019m keeping my distance and I\u2019m not going through any red lights.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Well, his employers didn\u2019t see things quite the same way. He lost his job \u2013 and it serves him bloody well right. The police also appear to be on to the case. Let\u2019s hope that they manage to explain to Dannyboy, via the courts, that waving a mobile phone around while you are driving in traffic is illegal \u2013 and having the camera switched on so it can record you doing it is just about the most damning evidence possible. He should lose his licence for a considerable period, and be required to take an extended test \u2013 anything that might force some common sense and maturity into that bloated skull of his. Mind you, he is also quoted:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I wasn\u2019t expecting this, it was something that was between a few mates, or it was meant to be.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He said that, knowing he has 24,000 followers on Facebook, where he chose to post the video.
