Apparently, the NSA is harvesting photos of people in order to build up its database to be used for face recognition. They are harvesting millions of photos every day according to the latest Edward Snowden leaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coincidentally, I got some new <a title=\"Dilbert Website\" href=\"http:\/\/dilbert.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dilbert<\/a> books over the weekend, and this strip really made me laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/diaryofanadi.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/dilbert_face.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-40140 lazyload\" width=\"696\" height=\"1290\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/diaryofanadi.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/dilbert_face.jpg 524w, https:\/\/diaryofanadi.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/dilbert_face-162x300.jpg 162w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 696px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 696\/1290;\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apparently, the NSA would need to get court approval to get pictures of Americans &#8211; unless they email a photo outside the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think what they mean is that the NSA would need court approval if it was going to admit to anything.
