{"id":18222,"date":"2015-09-15T01:29:48","date_gmt":"2015-09-15T00:29:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.diaryofanadi.co.uk\/?p=18222"},"modified":"2015-09-15T01:29:48","modified_gmt":"2015-09-15T00:29:48","slug":"outlook-hyperlinks-not-working","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diaryofanadi.co.uk\/?p=18222","title":{"rendered":"Outlook Hyperlinks Not Working"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have no idea what caused it \u2013 though I suspect Microsoft\u2019s recent update may have been involved \u2013 but all of a sudden, clicking any links in Outlook emails gave the message:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Your organization\u2019s policies are preventing us from completing this action.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I had two lengthy sessions with Microsoft support, but that didn\u2019t get me anywhere. In the end, <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/kb\/310049\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I downloaded an automatic fix<\/a> and that sorted it. If you try it yourself and you\u2019re using Windows 10, use the download link for Windows 8.1.<\/p>\n<p>I still don\u2019t know what the problem was. I\u2019d tried resetting Internet Explorer and changing program defaults as suggested in that link. Support also tried it, plus we tried uninstalling an app that might \u2013 and I mean \u201cmight\u201d \u2013 have been involved, but all to no avail.
