A bad accident happened in Penge, London, a few days ago when a car being chased by police crashed into pedestrians and killed two people<\/a>. It\u2019s always a little bit surreal when you see lives end like this \u2013 and that includes that of Joshua Dobby, the 23-year old driver who is \u201caccused\u201d of the crime. Still, better that he\u2019s kept off the streets than put back on them.\"Pronouncing<\/p>\n

What bugged me, though, was how when the story was reported on the radio and media. They had some stupid (\u201cshocked and appalled\u201d) woman being interviewed pronouncing \u201cPenge\u201d like it rhymed with \u201cBenjy\u201d. Then, the newsreader started doing it as well.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, the media\u00a0realised that even if a handful of dickwads do pronounce it that way, it’s best to do it properly, and they’re\u00a0now reporting it so it rhymes with \u201chenge\u201d – the way it should do.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
