We got held up for a short time because the level crossing barriers were down, and I noticed this white van in front of us.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4051 lazyload\" title=\"Pogo The Clown\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.diaryofanadi.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/pogo.gif\" alt=\"Pogo The Clown\" width=\"97\" height=\"200\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 97px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 97\/200;\" \/>It was covered in artwork which declared that it was the transporation of  Pogo The Clown  &#8211; some guy who does peripatetic clown work for children&#8217;s parties.<\/p>\n<p>What made me laugh was the motif on the bottom left side of the rear doors. It said:<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">NO BALLOONS LEFT IN THIS VAN OVERNIGHT <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t mind giving him a plug, because it looks like he does a lot of worthwhile stuff with kids.<\/p>\n<p>Mind you, I&#8217;m a bit confused about what some of his corporate clients would want with a mobile clown unit\u00a0&#8211; but having said that, I used to work for one of them, so maybe I&#8217;m not <em>that<\/em> surprised.
