\"Despatch<\/a>The latest issue of Despatch<\/a> is now available online.<\/p>\n

The lead article covers the fact that from 2012 the question bank for the theory test will no longer be available to the public (that includes ADIs).<\/p>\n

There’s also an article on a current trial which is looking at changing the syllabus for learners. It puts a greater emphasis on the learner learning for themselves instead of just being told what to do. I must admit that I’m a bit miffed about this, because I don’t actually “tell” my learners how to do anything (well, except for one yesterday who simply cannot steer the right way on any<\/em> manoeuvre after many hours of trying!)<\/p>\n

Trial results will be available in Spring 2012, so any changes would be made some time after that.<\/p>\n
