FCKEditor doesn&#8217;t have a very elegant skin.<\/p>\n<p>I found <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/foliovision.com\/seo-tools\/wordpress\/plugins\/wysiwyg\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000\">Foliopress WYSIWYG<\/a>, which sounded like it would do everything I wanted for normal WordPress posts. The only problem was that it requires PHP 5.0, and 1&amp;1 was only running PHP 4.0. I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;d asked about this a year or two ago, but when I enquired this time there was actually a solution (last time, I&#8217;m sure there wasn&#8217;t).<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how to enable PHP 5.0 on your 1&amp;1 server.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">Using a text editor that will not add headers (e.g. Notepad), create a file with the following text: <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><span style=\"font-family: Courier New\">AddType x-mapp-php5 .php  <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">Save the file as <span style=\"color: #993300\"><span style=\"font-family: Courier New\">.htaccess   <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">Upload the <span style=\"color: #993300\"><span style=\"font-family: Courier New\">.htaccess  <span style=\"font-family: Courier New\">  file to the root directory on your server. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At the time of writing, 1&amp;1 Internet is using PHP 5.2.14.
