You&#8217;d think it was currently somehow <em>legal <\/em>to drive uninsured the way <del>some of these media sources are going on<\/del>.<\/p>\n<p>Why it needs a new law is anyone&#8217;s guess.<\/p>\n<p>To be fair, it is slightly different inasmuch as even owning an uninsured vehicle will attract attention and potentially a \u00a3100 fine.<\/p>\n<p>How they will enforce it &#8211; and how many warnings they will issue (and how much issuing those warnings will cost) &#8211; remains to be seen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It makes me laugh, but uninsured drivers are already a menace and they should have been cracked down on\u00a0a long time ago.
