The advice amounts to this (from the company\u2019s co-director):<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><font color=\"#000080\">\u201cOlder cars can be particularly vulnerable to breakdown when sat in traffic on busy motorways so anyone driving an older vehicle, or a car that they have not had serviced for a while, should certainly follow our tips for having a hassle free Easter getaway. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font color=\"#000080\">\u201cOf course, for those who are not going anywhere in their cars this Easter because they simply think their car is too unreliable and prone to breakdown, it is worth remembering that there are some great car finance deals [link to own company website here] available at the moment for buying a new car and prices are more affordable than you may think.\u201d<\/font><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It then talks about car loans, with a further link to the company\u2019s own website.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, wait!. There ARE some tips. These are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><font color=\"#393e37\">check your tyres<\/font> <\/li>\n<li><font color=\"#393e37\">check your battery and lights<\/font> <\/li>\n<li><font color=\"#393e37\">check your windscreen<\/font> <\/li>\n<li><font color=\"#393e37\">check your oil<\/font> <\/li>\n<li><font color=\"#393e37\">think about breakdown cover<\/font> <\/li>\n<li><font color=\"#393e37\">buy a new car [link to company\u2019s website again]<\/font> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I\u2019ve recently accepted a sponsored article on the blog. Basically, an advertiser provides an article with a link back to their website, which I publish for them and provide a link to it on the blog homepage for an agreed period of time. It\u2019s clear that Yahoo! may well have done something very similar by allowing such blatant advertising to go under the guise of \u201cnews\u201d. If they did, I bet they charged more than I did, though.<\/p>\n<p>As for the \u201cadvice\u201d\u2026 well, it could have been lifted from anywhere (<a title=\"The AA - Spring motoring tips\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theaa.com\/motoring_advice\/seasonal\/spring_clean.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><font color=\"#800000\">the AA for example<\/font><\/a>).
