Here\u2019s what she did to get that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #393e37;\">drove off without paying for \u00a320 of fuel<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #393e37;\">tried to evade police by \u201cspeeding off\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #393e37;\">drove through 3 sets of red traffic lights<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #393e37;\">rammed a police car as she was boxed in<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, she <strong>should<\/strong> have been put away there and then. But she\u2019s a woman, and no doubt had a handbag-full of mitigating circumstances that the court fell for hook, line, and sinker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But &#8211; only six months later &#8211; Robertson, from Havant in Portsmouth, has been caught behind the wheel while banned (so she was also uninsured). She has \u201cadmitted\u201d &#8211; that\u2019s court-speak, because it doesn\u2019t matter if she \u201cadmits\u201d it or not, she\u2019s still guilty &#8211; to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #393e37;\">driving while disqualified<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #393e37;\">driving without insurance<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #393e37;\">breaching the suspended sentence handed down last time<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You really would think that this would be enough to see her serve that prison sentence, wouldn\u2019t you? But no. Our courts are so soft on chav drivers &#8211; and the female version in particular &#8211; that the hearing \u201cwas adjourned until August\u201d and she was \u201creleased on bail\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She should be on remand, awaiting a longer sentence on top of the original one. Chances are that she won\u2019t see a day inside a prison &#8211; but the inside of another car from the driver\u2019s seat is a distinct possibility. She simply doesn\u2019t care and is taking the piss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best thing you can say about her is that she is a thief.
