I saw in the news that the woman in this iconic photo from the 2nd World War has died at the age of 92.
What I didn’t realise was that, in recent years, people with very severe learning difficulties have been labelling it as:
…little more than the documentation of a very public sexual assault…
Anyway, whatever. Rest in peace, Greta Zimmer Friedman.
